           本文采用硫磺硫化,由于中分子量聚異丁烯、低分子量聚異丁烯和丁基橡膠的分子結構以及三者的配比,本文所述氣密膠在硫化過程中會形成很多星型和梳型結構,硫化過程中,大分子鏈逐漸被硫磺鍵接到一起,分子鏈的活動性減弱,MS密封膠模量和粘度隨之增加。根據前文所述,雖然MS密封膠形成微交聯結構可凍結MS密封膠的冷流,但樟量和粘度的降低會使MS密封膠的粘性下。因此,交聯度不可過高,否則MS密封膠會失去粘性,因此需要對交聯鍵的數量進行控制。

           通過調節硫化體系用量,可以調整交聯鍵的數量,但制約于硫磺粒徑以及硫磺粉料團聚問題。若硫磺添加過少,會造成硫化過程中MS密封膠局部缺硫,導致硫化不均,這樣一來微交聯后的MS膠料在受到外力時更容易應力集中,造成蠕變、內聚破壞,減少硫黃用量可增加粘性,但MS密封膠的本體強度會大打折扣。當輪胎被扎破時,MS密封膠若強度太小,可能會被胎壓從破孔擠出車輪,使輪胎胎面產生更嚴重的結構缺陷,反而更容易爆胎。因此可以從減少MS密封膠本體中的雙鍵含量來控制交聯密度,通過調整基體配比調控雙鍵含量以此調節交聯度的方法如前文所述,本文還設計了通過硫醇改性的方法控制交聯鍵的數量,硫醇與碳碳雙鍵產生的Thiol-ene總反應式如下圖所示。

           疏基的硫原子四個P軌道都沒有空位,是個富電子的親核結構,而富電子的碳碳雙鍵易發生親電加成,故二者直接反應的難度較大。但疏基和碳碳雙鍵在自由基引發劑或催化劑存在的環境下可發生硫醇一烯點擊化學反應,即琉基加成到碳碳雙鍵上的反應,這種反應首先在1905年報道,并由于寬松的反應條件被廣泛應用于化學合成。

           在氣密膠中添加疏基化合物,疏基可與基體中的丁基橡膠的雙鍵在熱處理過程中發生自由基引發的Thiol-ene反應,消耗掉雙鍵并將自身接枝到丁基橡膠上,也可能對聚異丁烯進行封端,從而減少了MS密封膠交聯結構。由于正十二硫醇是液體小分子,在混煉膠陳化的過程中比固體粉狀的硫磺更容易均勻滲透到MS密封膠當中。因此,相比通過硫磺用量的減少,通過添加正十二硫醇的方法能夠在硫磺不減量的情況下更均勻地降低交聯密度。www.pegeankoch.com
